Main actions

• Strengthening the capacities of community promoters in maternal health, child growth and development, healthy practices, prevention of common diseases, and sexual and reproductive health.
• Conducting home visits to pregnant women, postpartum women, mothers and families to provide guidance, follow-up and timely identification of risks.
• Monitoring the growth and development of children under five years of age, reinforcing care practices from the family environment.
• Development of community sessions on healthy eating, safe water consumption, home hygiene and prevention of diseases such as anemia, parasitosis and malaria.
• Implementation of spaces for information, guidance and dialogue on sexual and reproductive health, family planning and prevention of adolescent pregnancy, with the participation of women and adolescents.
